Kabuki by-the-sea, located near Swansea on Tasmania's East Coast is now providing No BuTTs Personal Ashtrays to their guests as in-room complimentary items.
Kabuki by-the-sea is a boutique resort providing
the highest standards of self-contained cottages. Designed in the style of a traditional Ryokan – a Japanese inn – Kabuki’s cottages have been furnished with Japanese antiques and paintings. The cottages sit on a clifftop, 24 metres above sea level and each has uninterrupted views of Great Oyster Bay and the Freycinet Peninsula.
"We were implementing a smoke free policy in our cottages and No BuTTs Personal Ashtrays were the perfect way to encourage compliance by our guests and visitors." said Terry Lanning, Owner of Kabuki by-the-sea. "It's simply not good enough to prohibit smoking in our cottages without giving our guests the ability to easily dispose of their butts wherever they go."
"Our logo printed Personal Ashtrays are a wonderful way to protect our pristine location from cigarette butt litter and provide an eco-friendly souvenir that our guests can take away with them - and from that point on always do the right thing with their cigarette butts no matter where their travels take them."
"We've even had new bookings from people that learned all about us when one of their friends who had stayed at Kabuki pulled out their Personal Ashtray." added Terry.
"For around $2 each our No BuTTs Personal Ashtrays are an excellent way to advertise our resort and at the same time display our high standards of environmental responsibility. Additionally, our guests actually help promote our business by taking their Personal Ashtrays with them everywhere they go. They're a real talking point and everyone who sees them is impressed."
"Since we implemented No BuTTs Personal Ashtrays, our housekeeping staff have reported virtually 100% success in encouraging guests to go outside if they wish to smoke. - and we love the fact that they can always do the right thing with their butts no matter where they are, either around our property or where ever else they go."
