Eastern Access Community Health Services goes Smoke Free the right way
Eastern Access Community Health, located in Melbourne's eastern suburbs is the latest hospital & community health services organisation to go Smoke-Free the right way at their facilities, by installing Eco-Pole Freestanding Bollard Ashtrays.

Eastern Access Community Health Smoke-Free signage from No BuTTs
"Starting with our Patterson Street facility we're going Smoke-Free, but it would be environmentally irresponsible to ignore the fact that many of our patients, staff and visitors smoke." said David Hampton, Service Access and Site Manager for Eastern Access Community Health.

"That's why we've installed No BuTTs Eco-Pole Freestanding Bollard Ashtrays at our entrances so that our smokers can properly dispose of their butts as they enter the Patterson Street location."

"It's good to see Eastern Access Community Health Services Management's responsible and realistic approach to the issue of going Smoke-Free the right way." said No BuTTs Managing Director, Jack Jacobson. "And it's actually good for a whole lot of reasons."

"It's simply unacceptable to wave a magic wand and declare a location Smoke-Free without providing smokers with the right way to dispose of their cigarette butts as they enter the property, or leave the premises to smoke."

"It's obviously unacceptable from an environmental point of view and it's totally unacceptable from the perspective of the neighbouring locations that will forced to bear the brunt of the cigarette butt litter created by that Smoke-Free location's smokers, as they are forced to 'go elsewhere' to smoke."

Eco-Pole Freestanding Bollard Ashtray
"The last thing we want to happen is for our staff, patients and visitors to litter their butts around neighbouring areas at EACH locations." said David

"Visitors entering our facility are informed by signage on our Eco-Pole Bollard Ashtrays that we are a Smoke-Free location and are requested to place their butts into the Eco-Poles before proceeding".

"The Eco-Pole Freestanding Bollard Ashtrays are a very attractive product and have a very smart design that can't be used as a trash bin.  Our maintenance staff are also delighted because they can empty the Eco-Poles in around 20 seconds."

Eco-Pole Ashtrays are tamper-proof and vandal resistant and all Eco-Pole Ashtrays use a same-key-system which eliminates 'key-confusion' for service personnel.

Over 500 hospitals, medical facilities and clinics have gone Smoke-Free the right way, with No BuTTs Eco-Pole Wall/Post & Freestanding/Bollard Ashtrays.
